this was taken last week, it's a little fuzzy cause the phone started to slip just as i was hitting the button, i was sitting on my bed after going to the dr, love that dress...


this is the baby basinet thingy, thats view from my bed lol oh for the love of boppy... and the little bear has a "womb sounds" recording that has an auto shut off after 40 minutes and volume control. so cute.

Womb sounds?? Huh?

That's kind of like the mouse flavored cat food thing...

How do they know what a womb sounds like to a baby?

haha random they have some recordings that have been taken inside the womb. the sound is moderatly loud, sort of a whooshing sound that pulses to the beat of a heart, which is the sound of the blood doing just that, whooshing around the baby.
it's actually an old trick just like swaddling up a newborn, if you have trouble calming them then swaddle them up and hold them on their side and make a whooshing or a shhhing in their ear, not to loud but loud enough for them to hear over their own crying. But i don't have a baby to try it out on yet. Personally i think all baby need some "skin to skin" time, i have no qualms about taking off my shirt and hers and holding her under a blanket for a while.
